Congratulations to Linda Chung from Vancouver, Canada for winning the 2004 Miss Chinese International Pageant in Hong Kong. king We're all excited and happy when we heard she won Miss Vancouver and then the Miss Chinese International title! Way to go, Linda! twothumbsup

Miss Chinese International winner Linda Chung (center) from Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada is congratulated by first runner-up Mandy Cho from Hong Kong, and 2nd runner-up Carlene Ang Aguilar from Manila, at the Miss Chinese International 2004 pageant in Hong Kong.

The remaining finalists were Vivien Yeo (Yeo Sieu Hui) from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, and Jessica Xu (Xu Jing Jie) from Los Angeles, USA.

Mandy Cho from Hong Kong won the Miss Friendship Award, and Carlene Aguilar from the Philippines won the Best Smile Award.

Miss Chinese Vancouver

Similar to the Miss Chinese Toronto Pageant, Miss Vancouver is usually held a few weeks after Miss Chinese Toronto. The compeitition is opened to those age 17-25 and who reside in Vancouver. The winner participates in Miss Chinese International, which is held every year in January.

Miss Chinese Vancouver have won the Miss Chinese International title consecutively from 2001 (Bernice Liu) to 2002 (Shirley Zhou). Other success includes two 2nd runner-up titles (1993, 1999).

Michelle was the first person I thought about when I saw Linda's picture DSun. They could be sister's. One thing Linda is lucky for is she has a nicer nose. Certain ways Michelle takes pictures her nose just gets in the way and it looks sooooooooooo long. Michelle is beautiful but she might have done some surgery making her nose a little smaller.

Just a question did you ever hear if Michelle retired from acting? I thought she had but a new movie I just picked up has her opposite Daniel Wu. The song they sing in that movie is still running through my head. Must be the words.. rofl rofl

I have her on my calendar.....she's pretty... but I hope the girls who win have more than just looks...many go on to acting and singing... does Bernice sing? I really haven't looked up anything on her.

The TVB calendar every year puts Miss Hong Kong and her runner ups on the cover..just this year I thought they might have used a better picture than they did. Last years picture was much nicer.
